TUNA MASALA

Tuna masala




Ingredients

  • Canned tuna fish - 1 (185 gms)     
  • Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Tomato - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 ½ tsp
  • Green chilli - 1 or 2
  • Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder - ½ tsp
  • Salt - to taste 
  • Oil - 2 or 3 tsp

Method

STEP-1
Drain the oil or water from the can and keep aside.

 STEP-2
Heat oil in a kadai; add ginger garlic paste and chopped green chilli. Saute for a minute.
STEP-3
Then add the finely chopped onions. 
STEP-4
Saute till the colour changes; then add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. Sauté it.

 STEP-5
Now add the drained tuna; saute for 2 minutes and mix well.

STEP-16
Then close the lid and allow it to cook in medium flame, till the fish is done (no need to add water). 

 STEP-7
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chappati ,rice or use as a filling for Sandwich.
