Prawns Dry Fry
Ingredients
- .Finely chopped shallots-10-15
- .Curry leaves-2 string
- .Coconut oil-2tbsp
For Marination
- .Prawns-1/2 k
- .Kashmiri red chilly powder-2tbsp(up to your spice level)
- .Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
- .Salt –as required
Method
STEP 1
.Wash and clean the
prawns.
STEP 2
. Strain the water.
STEP 3
. Marinate prawn and keep it aside for 15-30 minutes.
STEP 4
.Pour 2tbsp of oil
into the pan. Fry prawns for few minutes till it becomes golden brown. Set
aside.
STEP 5
. In that same oil sauté
curry leaves and shallots. Sauté until shallots become translucent.
STEP 6
. Add prawn to this and mix well.Cook in medium flame for 5 minutes.
STEP 7
. Remove the lid
and again fry for few more minutes.
STEP 8
. Once the prawns
and the masala are mixed and fried well, remove from flame.
