Aval (Rice
Flakes) Roast
- Aval-250g
- Jaggery-250g
- Grated coconut-1 ½ cup
- Nuts-few
- Raisins-few
- Cardamom powder-1tsp
Method
Roast the rice flakes (aval) for 10 minutes on low flame and
without oil, till it become crispy (or you can oven heat it on 100% power for 3
minutes)
STEP-2
Melt jaggery in necessary water(1/3 cup) and strain it.
STEP-3
Add cardamom powder, cashew nuts, grated coconut and
raisins.
Stir well for a few minutes.
STEP-4
Add aval into it and mix well.
STEP-5
Aval roast is ready to serve.
