2 MINUTE MICROWAVE MUG CAKE

2 Minute Microwave Mug Cake




Easy cake preparation in mug.

Ingredients
  • Unsalted butter -2 tablespoons
  •  Large egg -1
  • Milk -2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla extract -1 teaspoon
  •  Granulated sugar-1/4 cup
  • Self-rising flour-6tbsp/(flour5 1/2tbsp+baking powder 1/4tsp+baking soda a pinch)
  •  Salt - A pinch
  • Sprinkles-1tbsp(optional)

For topping (optional)
  • Sprinkles
  • Nutella

Method
STEP-1
Heat the butter in a small microwave-safe mixing bowl in 10- to 20-second increments, until melted.

STEP-2
Add the egg and beat with a fork until smooth.

STEP-3
Mix in the milk, vanilla, and sugar.

STEP-4
Add the flour and salt, and whisk until smooth.
Fold about 1 tablespoon of sprinkles into the batter before cooking.(Optional)

STEP-5
Divide the batter between two mugs.(or one big mug)

STEP-6
Microwave each mug separately, for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes, or until the cake has risen and is firm and springy to the touch. (It will not brown.)

STEP-7
If you're topping it with nutella, allow it to cool to room temperature. Then frost and decorate with sprinkles (if using).
