PAZHAM NIRACHATHU

Ingredients
  • Big banana`s(Nenthra pazham) - 2 nos
For filling
  • Grated coconut - 1 cup
  • Cashew nuts and raisins (finely chopped) -few(optional)
  • Sugar- 1 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder- A pinch
  • Ghee- 2 tbsp


Method

STEP 1
For preparing pazham nirachathu, peel the banana`s.

STEP 2
Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a pan and saute the cashews and raisins. Keep it aside.

 STEP 3
 In the same ghee saute grated coconut.

STEP 4
Add the sugar and mix well.

STEP 5
Sprinkle cardamom powder and mix well. Remove from the flame.

STEP 6
Mix in the cashews and raisins. Keep it aside.

 STEP 7
Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a frying pan. Fry bananas in ghee on low flame till it becomes brown in colour.

STEP 8
Make each banana into half.

STEP 9
Make a slit on one side of the banana`s.

STEP 10
 Stuff the slit of the banana with the coconut mixture.

 STEP 11
Repeat the procedure with the remaining banana.

STEP 12
Pazham nirachathu is ready.
