SPONGE CAKE

Sponge Cake





Ingredients
  • .All Purpose Flour/Wheat Flour-1/3 Cup                  
  • .Sugar-1 Cup                                                                   
  • .Baking Powder -2 Teaspoon                                                               
  • .Salt- ¼ Teaspoon                                                                       
  • .Egg- 3(Separated)                                                                        
  • .Butter-1 1/2 Stick(2 Cubes)                                                                  
  • .Milk -2/3 Cup                                                                     
  • .Vanilla Essence-1 Teaspoon                                             
 
Method

STEP-1
.Preheat oven to 180c and lightly grease the baking tray.

STEP-2
.Sieve flour, salt and baking powder.

STEP-3
.In a separate bow beat egg white very well. It will become a creamy texture. Set aside.

STEP-4
.In a bowl beat butter and sugar. Add milk and beat again.

STEP-5
.Add ½ of the dry ingredient beat along with milk.

STEP-6
.Finish by adding rest of dry ingredient and beat in low speed.

STEP-7
.Add egg white mix. Fold it.

STEP-8
.Pour the mixture into a greased baking tray.
.Bake it in preheated oven for 180c until done.(when the toothpick inserted to the center, it will comes out clean)

For Icing
  • .Whipping Powder-2 Sachet
  • .Cold Milk-As Required (As Per Packet Instruction)
  • .Vanilla Essence-2 Teaspoon
  • .Food Color-Pink And Green


Method


STEP-1
.Beat all ingredients in a bowl,2 minutes in low speed. After  that beat 4 minutes in high speed.

STEP-2
.Divide the cream into three portion .
.Add pink color into one portion
.Add green color into second portion.
.Third portion remain as same.

STEP-3
.Fill in to separate piping bags.
.Draw lines with different colors above the cake.
.For pattern just draw lines using toothpick/barbecue screw.




 Tip
  • .You can use any other colors .Here I used these three.
