Paper Hat Making For Kids

I am very proud to share this craft with you.Because this hat is selected as one of the best hat in my daughter Isha's school.
Materials Used

.Newspaper

.Ribbon 

.Paper flowers

.Spray paint (golden)

.Bowl

.Masking Tap

.Glue


Instruction

STEP-1
.Start out with 2 or 3 piece of newspaper,news paper that are all the way two sides and then angle them a little bit so that you have newspaper that goes all the way around.But for the rest want to keep in the middle to have them angle around.This will give you more paper to work with.

TAKE A BOWL

PLACE IT DOWN

ARRANGE NEWSPAPER

STEP-2
.You going to take newspaper and put it over the person's head .But barring that over your bowl just smooth is down all the way around.

STEP-3
.Once you  have got it down ,you are going to take mask ,some masking tape and get it started and then hold it down .And go around with the tape until you have all the way around at least once.

STEP-4
.Once you are back to your starting point you are going to want to go around at least one more time.

.Make sure you have a good solid base to your hat

.If you are using the person that the hat is going to be made for ,it will be perfect fit for them.

.Once you are all away around it doesn't really matter your tape looks like because you are going to cover more than likely anyway.

.Once you have done that you have the base for your hat.

PLACE NEWS PAPER OVER THE BOWL

(.It can either have a deep crown or a shallow crown depending on where you put the tape.If you are doing it on someones head and you are the newspaper down over their head.If you want a shallow base to your head you are going to put the tap about up.Right around  from the back of your head around to the forehead.

But if you want a deeper base you will start lower on the head and come up just above the ears and across the forehead.)

TAPE IT

STEP-5
.Next roll the edges. The smaller you roll your brim,your edges,the wider the brim will be.

.Once you have your edges rolled all the way around you might want to paint it.

ROLL THE EDGES

STEP-6
.Here i used golden color spray paint.You can use any other paint depending on your choice.

.Let it dry.Once it dry,it will stiffen.

PAINT IT

STEP-7
.Once you have that finished ,You are going to embellish it with whatever you have on hand.I used some paper flowers and net cloth.I did that with my glue.
