CABBAGE THORAN

Cabbage Thoran


Ingredients

  • Cabbage-1/2 Portion
  • Mustard Seeds-1 Teaspoon
  • Curry Leaves 1 String
  • Coconut Oil-1 Tablespoon
  • Salt – As Needed


For Grinding
  • Shredded Coconut-1 Cup
  • Shallots-3-4
  • Green Chilly-3-4


Method

STEP-1
Coarsely grind grated coconut, green chillies and shallots.Keep it aside.

STEP-2
Chop the cabbage very finely.

STEP-3
Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.



STEP-4
Splutter mustard seeds. Add curry leaves.

STEP-5
Add chopped cabbage and mix well.


STEP-6
Cover the pan and reduce the heat to medium – low.
Cook, till the cabbage is done.

STEP-7
Add the grounded coconut paste and cook for a few minutes.
Check for salt.
